The Cuban Living History Project includes three documentaries and 114 personal interviews. The documentaries are named: Y los Quiero Conocer (And I Want to Meet Them) recounting the era of the Cuban Republic, Calle Ocho: Cuban Exiles Look at Themselves, an Emmy Award-winner, based on the Cuban American exile community and Ni Patria Ni Amo (Neither Motherland Nor Master) which focuses on the exile opposition to Fidel Castro's regime and is based on testimonies of exile leaders. The documentaries were created based on the personal interviews. The interviewees on the personal interviews were Cuban exiles that played very important roles in the creation of Cuban Miami. Most of the interviewees, now deceased, were well-known figures in the cultural, political and intellectual life of the Cuban Republic. The interviews were conducted by Dr. Miguel González-Pando, between the years 1990 and 1997. A number of other items also included in the collection are press articles by Miguel Gonzalez-Pando, personal photos and posters, in addition to articles about him.

This collection contains legal documents pertaining to the DeSoto County court case of Brenda M. Johnson, et al. vs. De Soto County Board of Commissioners and De Soto County School Board, et al. Included are memoranda, depositions, declarations and historical research conducted by Gary Mormino. Also included in the collection are transcripts of oral history interviews conducted by Gary Mormino that cover the Tampa Bay area's history. Finally, a collection of Mormino's articles for the Tampa Tribune are also included.

This collection relates to Hazel Louis Bowman who worked for the Signal Corps and lived in India with the American Red Cross for two years. Bowman's collection contains six full boxes, one oversize box, a phono records box, and two photograph boxes. Four of the boxes include letters written to and from Hazel to her parents, family, neighbors, and friends. The collection also contains an oral history transcript, newsletters and bulletins, American Red Cross publications, her diary, a book written by Bowman, photograph albums, and ephemera.
